Hi JForum support team,

I'm now testing all the functionalities of jforum Admin Account, and have found some problems in the "admin control panel" in jforum 2.4.0:

1 "Moderation of replies" doesn't work: I use my admin account to log in and select all my forums as "Moderation of replies" in this option for the admin group, and when I use admin account to post replies in these forums, none of the replied messages are needed to be moderated. All of the replies are posted into the forum straight away. (All these forums are set as "Moderatable") So what's the function of "Moderation of replies"? Isn't it used to pend all the replies waiting for the moderation from the moderator?

2 "Can edit message" doesn't work: if I switch this option to "No" for admin group, the admin account are still able to edit all the messages in any forums.

3 What are the functions of "Message Approving" and "Ranking"? How to use them?

Could you please have a look at the above issues and help me out? I have tested many times, the first two functions don't work as I described.

Regards

You're right, that's a bug which will be fixed in an upcoming 2.4.1 release.

"Message Approving" should list all posts in need of approval - that ties in with your other bug report, which I haven't looked into yet.

"Ranking" allows you to automatically assign fancies titles to users once they reach a certain number of posts. You can try that on your local installation by creating a new ranking with, say, a minimum of 10 posts and some arbitrary title, and then that title should appear underneath the user name once you have posted at least 10 times.
